I do beleive, off the bat, that the hardest thing for me personally is getting my ideas into paper. Taking my ideas and tranforming them into words yet and at the same time being clear so the reader can understand it is whats making it the hardest. The easiest thing is that I know what I am writting about and I understand the Poem and its meaning and I have the thesis statement down which some people think is the hardest part.

good morning, I agree with what you said it is so hard to write your thoughts and ideas down. Just getting started to me is very hard also. Knowing what to say and how too say it so the reader can understand what I am trying to say. Very hard to me.

I have the same problem with getting my thoughts down onto the paper and have them making sense to everyone else. You’re lucky you have the thesis. I am trying to come up with my thesis still.

I totally understand where your coming from. Thats my problem too. You have the idea of the poem, but there doesn’t seem to be enough words to type out and make the length 2 1/2 – 3 pages. The thesis really wasnt that bad. Its making it clear and having at least 2 1/2 pages

I know exactly what you are saying. It is very hard for me too. I have a hard time getting my ideas together and allowing those ideas to be clear. A good tip for your next paper is to create an outline. First think about what you want to say and the order you want to say it in. The outlline can become your map and checklist. From there create your outline and it will be much easier getting those ideas on to paper. I made the mistake of not doing an outline for my poetry essay. I tried to just write my ideas down and now I believe it is one of the reasons my paper is suffering.

I agree with you on the first part, I also have a hard time writting my ideas out on paper when I can clearly see them in my mind. I just find it hard to explain them on paper. I Really can’t say the same thing about understanding alot of poetry because I some times have a hard time understanding some poems.

I think the thesis statement is easy, but the hardest part for me is having my paper sound right to her standards. I love to write, but my problem is, is that I don’t know how to write correctly. It seems like everytime I go to write something, theres just not enough words to fill up however many pages that it needs to be.
